Call it a private eye website. If you want to know the particulars about someone - Whois...... is one place to look. It's not free. the fee is $75, but it may provide information that will make personal decision-making easier. Is he/she married, really a lawyer...32...a Michigan grad????

I spoke briefly with site owner Linda Alexander. She says her clients are roughly a 50-50 mix of men and women. Some people are looking for old girlfriends or checking out a prospective nanny.

Linda says one woman has used her service several times...looking for Mr. Right.

Asked about the $75 fee, Alexander says it's less than a local private eye would charge. Alexander says she is an attorney (haven't checked her out, yet ;} ) and has access to databases that most people don't.
